I received a traffic ticket in May with the Arlington Police Department. I was in a particular situation in which it was not a smart choice to go by myself to request a jury trial (something that I would have done if my license was completely valid). I needed an attorney to represent me, and I received a piece of mail advertisement from the Hawkins & Walker legal firm. They were unreachable by phone, so I went in person. The front desk lady was nice (and bilingual), but she gave me advice that it was not the very best option for me. She consulted with the attorney, so I went to talk in person with Mr. Hawkins. He was very knowledgeable, and knew exactly what the most appropriate solution was. It included requesting a trial, expecting an offer from the City of Arlington with a fine reduction, and being placed in probation while I had a license again. Mr. Hawkins received a great probation offer on my behalf: just 30 days for the case to be dismissed if I paid the reduced fine immediately.
I just want to add that Mr. Hawkins always took his time to call me, e-mail me and respond my questions in every stage of this process.
